A photo shows style. A measurement helps you choose.
A photograph shows the shape and a styling idea, but it cannot replace measurement. Read the length and width in the description. Compare them with jewellery you already own and feel comfortable wearing.
Bracelets: measure your wrist
Use a flexible tape where you plan to wear the bracelet, without squeezing your skin. Compare the result with the design’s length. Consider the fastening, width and any extension. Not every one-size design is adjustable.
Necklaces: try the length
Cut a piece of string to the necklace length to see where it will sit. Try it with the neckline you plan to wear. If there is an extension, read the description to find its adjustment range.
Rings: compare the right measurement
Measure the inside diameter of a ring that fits or have a jeweller measure your size. Do not assume sizes are identical across manufacturers. Check the construction of adjustable designs and never force them open. If you need a missing measurement, ask before buying.
